The place is clean my experience with the staff is Awesome every time. My favorite nights down there are Tuesdays from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. with karaoke. The hookah and drinks are definitely on point. That's it. Karaoke QueenBiig Jojo says so!! So get down there and tell them Biig Jojo sent ya! Only if you're a good person tho. We don't do negative no matter what life smacks you hard with. The lady with the peach shirt on tonight on Thursday did a great job! She was very personable and had a great energy about her ! I would love to come back and see her and vibe with her again!
We had a birthday party. It was free. We booked our own food and brought it. The front is small. The bar is in the front. If you continue to walk to the back it is a larger area. The vibe is good. The people are real. Good conversation. THE PASSION FRUIT LONG ISLAND IS A MUST. Drink prices are great. Casual dress
This lounge is the NEW WAVE!! Great drinks, food and vibe. Every night it’s a different theme different Dj. The ladies in here are so sweet and cute. Every time I’ve been here I received great service as soon as I walk in the door. The drink menu is EVERYTHING!! They even have a basketball ball hoop in there. I’ve never had a problem with my bill they break everything down for you and I can appreciate them allowing you to split the check if you have more the one person. This is about to be my “CHEERS” where everyone will know my name
Food, music, and atmosphere was great. The staff was very attentive which is rare at other bars. WE LOVED IT. My homegirls from Rutgers go often, it’s their favorite Newark spot. Wish I lived closer but very well worth the drive. Can’t wait to go back. (P.S. the owner was present, active, and involved, you never see that these days) I’m beyond impressed!
Went on a Thursday night. We were in the area and decided to check this place out and were really glad we did. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was quick and efficient. The drinks and music were great. Security was very thorough. We really enjoyed our time here and will be back!
I will start out by saying I love City Lounge and I’ve been coming here for years. I actually have a Great Review for them under my other account, but this time was different. It’s the last Friday of the year and I’m chillin with my home girl, and this Oswald Cobblepot (iykyk ) blond bald head chick with the gap was rude as hell. Yes I took it there cause she was rude twice. She was the hookah girl by the way. Her attitude was trash. Now I understand I’m in Newark, but damn For me to write this review means she ticked me off. Let’s do better City Lounge P.S. Henery the bartender doesn’t know how to make drinks well The sangria was great however his energy was GREAT too. We tipped him well
